Scheduling for an individual

All Volunteers
All volunteers must complete a waiver form, once signed, the waiver is valid for one a year. Please print, read and complete the volunteer packet, found here. Please bring the competed forms to the work site to turn them in. Forms may also be faxed ahead of time to 724-847-2963.

Student Projects
We are always excited to partner with students for community service hours. There are some guideline specific to students that must be followed. They can be downloaded here. Please note that this form is in addition to the volunteer packet above.
Important Information
- You are responsible for scheduling your own workdays.
- Habitat work days are every Wednesday and Saturday, 8AM to 3:30 PM, and you must sign up before hand.
- You must sign a waiver before starting work.
- At each jobsite report to the site supervisor and sign the sign-In sheet.
- Wear clothes and gloves that are appropriate for construction work and weather conditions.
- Wear appropriate shoes - no sandals or flip flops.
- Bring a hammer, tape measure, and pencil. Habitat will provide all other necessary tools.
- No one under 18 is permitted to operate power tools, and no one under 16 is permitted at job sites. If you are younger than 16, please call the office for other opportunities.
- Volunteering at a jobsite can involve anything from demolition to painting. We cannot guarantee a specific job so please come prepared to do any job that is required.
- Please provide your own bag lunch and drink.
